i started my college career enrolled in pre-med coursework.

after a series of revelations (and realizing that I’m really bad at math) i headed off to art school. at VCUarts i studied to become a scientific/medical illustrator and metalsmith, taking plenty of typography, design, and color theory classes along the way.

post-graduation, i moved home and worked as a hostess for a restaurant and wedding venue. early on, i offered to redesign their menus, but ended up rebranding their facility, becoming their graphic designer, and starting my trajectory to becoming an ACD.

i’ve worked at my current agency for 5 years, and during this time have helped to create award-winning branding and creative campaigns, mentored design teams, lead our company’s culture initiative, and was recently honored to win a 40 Under 40 induction from the NJ Ad Club (thanks y’all)
